Safety first: interacting with our gentle giants
Your safety is our utmost priority. While our Highland Cows are pets and generally docile, they are still large animals. Please be aware that accidents can happen, including being kicked, horned, or bitten. Injuries on the property are also a possibility. We ask all guests to strictly follow the guidelines provided by our staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Respectful visits: our expectations
To maintain a smooth and respectful environment for all, we kindly ask that guests listen attentively to our staff's instructions. For the safety of our younger visitors, adult supervision is required for anyone under the age of 16 at all times. Your cooperation helps us create a welcoming atmosphere for both our human and animal friends.
In case of an unexpected moment
Should an unexpected situation or accident occur during your visit, your immediate responsibility is to step away from the animal and allow our trained staff to assist you. Our team is here to ensure your well-being and will provide necessary support and guidance in any unforeseen circumstances.
Capturing memories
We encourage you to capture your amazing experience! Guests are welcome to take their own photos and videos during their visit. While we love seeing your shared memories, please note that Highland Homestead may also take photos during experiences for promotional purposes. If you have any concerns, please let a staff member know.
